We test for the 2008 Hyundai Azera. I like the speed it includes a global assessment of the 2008 Hyundai Azera from the inside out. Evaluate not only engine and handling performance of the 2008 Hyundai Azera. It is really amazing.

I got a ticket first time I drove the Azera on an interstate. It wants to cruise at 83 mph. It doesn't give the sensation of speed so it is easy to go fast and not know it.

If I recall rightly, the traps had him passing through at 130 mph, but he didn't have an unlimited straight to fully run it out...

Thanks for the link. Fun to watch and listen to. It does have a nice engine note when you get into it. I should have clarified that I have hardly any experience with manual mode auto transmissions, and I have only tried it the once so far. I do have quite a few years of experience driving true manuals though. Guess I'll have to play with it some more. I wonder how fast he was going on the straightaway after he passed the other car. I really don't know much about the Azera's yet other than the normal specs, do they have a fuel governor on them (i.e. top speed limiter)? I kind of doubt it since I don't think the Sonatas do. Well, at least I remember the article referring to some guy who was arrested for doing supposedly 141 in one and said it was impossible since the cars top speed was 137 or something like that. Anyone know what top speed on a 3.8 Azera is? Not that I plan to test it of course, just curious. Guessing it would be at least as much as the Sonata V6.

Here's something you might find interesting. This Azera is driven by a professional track driver/shop owner who also modified the suspension a bit, using his own manufactured parts. He left the shifter in "manual" mode to do the laps. Note this big sedan overtake the turbo Miata near the end, and the Azera's accelleration wheel squeal coming out of the turn with the victim in view...

Thanks. Yep, I was thinking that but doubt it will have too much of an impact on the result since it's not really a manual and I have played with the manual mode once since we got it and found it wasn't all that useful at least to me. But I'll be sure to post times when I finally get a GTech or similar.

The one we just bought feels quicker than 7.5 or 7. It feels very comparable to the 99 Regal GS that I had several years ago and it did about 6.5 so their claims are probably not far off. Haven't timed it yet though, looking to get a Gtech soon.
