Just Bought a 2012 Azera- no power fold in mirrors?

I just bought a beautiful new 2012 black on black Azera. This is my second Azera and I couldn't be happier with all the bells and whistles in the Technology package. But I was stunned to find that with all the thought that went into this car and the multitude of options that the outside mirrors are not power fold in. This being my second Azera, I had it on my 2008 but it doesn't come on the 2012??? Did I miss something? The manual doesn't say anything about power mirrors folding in. I know, it is a small issue but puzzling nonetheless. In spite of that I couldn't be happier with this car. I loved my 2008 and I feel even stronger about the 2012.

Congrats and welcome to the club. I have a white 2012 Azera, without the Technology package

I just could not justify to myself to pay the extra money. With that said, you do get a lot for the extra $4K. Also registration in CO is outrageous. It cost me almost $800 for the year.

Congrats as well. $800? is that for insurance? if so that's not bad compared to Mass. It is about $1200 here

I have a 2012 Azera with the Tech pkg. Mine is in Bronze Mist. Love the car but I agree it should have auto folding mirrors. Also it should have auto dimming mirrors like my 2011 Dodge Ram Laramie. Overall it is a fantastic vehicle. My first Hyundai. My daughter liked it so much, she bought a 2009 Santa Fe limited.

Funny how the Azera has a ton of good luxury features but no folding mirrors. Maybe in next years model they will include it?

    Hello All,
Just joined tonight so obviously my first posting. In an effort to be practical and stop sinking money in my car all the time, I sold my 2003 BMW M3 Convertible SMG and bought a 2011 Sonata 2.0T (turbo for non car buff's haha) that can get up to 39 mpg with 274 hp. Wow! Couldn't believe how quick the car was with that kind of gas milage! But I must say I missed the luxury feeling of the BMW. After a year and 30K miles of driving, I decided to trade the Sonata in for a 2012 Azera with the tech package. Midnight blue with tan interior, let's say I definitely got my luxury back. But...it feels sluggish. The Azera has 20 more hp and gets considerably less gas mileage, so I thought it would be comparable to the Sonata turbo in performance. And maybe it is just so smooth it doesn't feel like it does (which I driven cars like that before). I'm currently shopping K&N filters or possibly a cold air intake system and maybe a chip. Not looking for M3 performance, just looking to wake her up a bit. I would welcome any suggestions or thoughts especially if you've already done what I'm looking to do. Thanks and good meeting all.

Welcome to the forum! Try running a measured 1/4 mile with a timer to see if the "sluggish" is merely subjective...
