    Tire Pressure & Handling

I've read in a few places that some people experience a vague or wallowing feeling when powering the Azera aggressively through curves. I suspect a lot of this might be related to the low tire pressure (30 psi) that the owners manual says to run. I too felt a slight vagueness when I first picked up the car, but I've since boosted the tire pressure to 38 psi (still 6 psi lower than the tires' 44 psi max allowable), and the car goes through curves like it's on rails. Anyone else have similar experiences?

I bumped my preasure up to 32psi shortly after buying the car in March of 06. I'll probably keep them at 32. I don't recall ever having a new car that was so sensitive to tire pressure. I wonder if it's the car or the tires. Changing the pressure definitely makes a big difference.

I suspect it's the tires, as there's such a large wheel-to-tire ratio there, with correspondingly less space within the tire for air that small variations in air pressure go a long way...

    RE: Tire Pressure & Handling

Glad to see others having similar experience. I noticed over the last month or so since it's been really cold here that the car would wobble severly in corners. I was really worried something was wrong.

Well after reading this post I check the PSI...it was 25 pounds in all the tires...cold. Yeah...kinda low. I've upped it to 32 and can't wait to see the diff tomorrow.

    Later folks!!

The tire is usually also a need for greater capacity. If the pressure of the tires of the car is very diverse, which is recommended by the manufacturer, it is likely that the characteristics of tire wear and performance are also changed. tire inflation pressure change over time and temperature.
