    Wipers not working

I had my windshied replaced and now my wipers don't work. I don't have the rain sensor or auto. system on the wipers. Fuses and relay seemed to be working/good.

    RE: Wipers not working

    Welcome to the forum!

If your model/package didn't come with the rain sensor (as my 2006 Limited with the Premium, not Ultimate, package doesn't) it sounds like some mechanical damage was done to the wiring to the wiper motor.

All the windshields have a wiper defroster connection with heat elements built into the glass, positioned where the wipers are at rest, and the under-the-hood connectors for the glass-wiper defroster and the wiper motor are side by side, so a little carelessness in installation might be the culprit. When you take your car to the dealer, better have him check the operation of the wiper defrosters as well...

Wait, are we talking about the washer pump or the actual wipers . If the wipers go up and down and wipe the window the they are fine. However if the wipers don't move at all from starting position then it could be a possible motor.
On the other hand if the wipers work but you get nothing squirting out when you want to spray the windshield washer fluid then its most likely the windshield washer pump.

    Welcome to the forum!

As his only post was from June of last year, we may never find out...

WAIT! I thought I had seen this elsewhere.

"Verdict- When they replaced the windshied they unplug the motor to the wipers! Easy fix!
    Thanks everyone!"

I am not excluding the engine, but it was all fine until I removed the car and was safely stored until refitted. It is purely coincidental that the engine has failed and will probably be a wiring issue that I thought..
