I hate to revive this old thread but I'm new here...For me personally the wood trim on my 07 needs a facelift. I would like to see some pics posted of any replacements that have been done in anything other than wood. That steering wheel wood gets way too hot here in the inland empire. Wish the whole wheel had the leather wrap to it. Wheelskins are decent but they don't cover the whole spoke area. Perhaps a different Hyundai steering wheel???

removing the pieces and vinyl wrapping them is a really good options as when it comes time to sell, the vinyl can be easily removed

The only thing that bothers me is AC vents are different color, and it doesn't match up that well. But overall, it looks good.

    RE: Woodgrain Upgrade?

I found these photos in an azera where someone had improved the grain of the wood interior.I think it is wonderful and I hope that this update to the quality of the kit is better.[/align]

    RE: Woodgrain Upgrade?

these interior kits are made by the company that does the lexus interior, although some may think it's too much, it is stunning when done and everyone notices..another bonus is that it seemed to remove some squeaks and rattles that were in the plastic portions of the dash, and the kit doesn't get as hot as the vanilla dash, which is great in AZ

    RE: Woodgrain Upgrade?

I got the full interior kit, did it myself and it looks great if you are careful and use a hair dryer gapping is minimal, also added the genesis grille and badging. And the dealer now thinks it's a genesis.he had to be told it was an azera when it was checked in

Way too fake looking for my tastes.. it needs more wood grain to make it look more real

No me. Too much wood. If you want more of a wood look buy a Chris Craft boat. TO me it looks to dark. I have the same interior and I like the wood color the way it is. Too much is over kill. I love the smell of a new car. Wonderfull.
