Hello Everyone.

Has anyone installed these yet?
H&R Azera Springs
I am really wanting to lower my wifes car to have a little more unique look and help out that major "float" on the freeways... But I know usually installing lowering springs reduces the life of stock struts.Cool

Any info would be great...

Thanks in advance,
Hi Jim, I don't have any info on theses springs but my concern would be that they might jeopardize the warranty. I would find out first before installing them, though I am sure that they would give the Azera a nice look.
Joe-
Hey there, yeah I doubt they would do anything to the warranty unless I brought the car in with them on and the struts were blown. I could change the springs back before I make the trip... hehe... That is my own observation though... But going to the dealer in a few days and picking the wifes car up. Gotta double check the rear sun shade that it is pushing against the window etc...
I will keep you posted on this...
Okay I have these on my car, so heres my review. I talked Hyundai as well as talked to my dealer about these and the warranty. Like common sense would dictate these only void suspension related aspects of the warranty. With that said, lowering a car can affect many different aspects of the suspension adversely. The main concern should always be strut/shock and tire wear. I installed KYB Gr-2 on the front and those shocks are badd ass, I had the stocks for a bit and they made the ride bouncy and degenerated over time, however I installed these springs at 50k when the shocks were already on their way out. The combo of kyb's and the h&r's make for a firm yet compliant ride, the car can actually take a corner and rides awesome on the freeway which can then lead to a problem. Since the freeway handling is much smoother and stable, speed does not become as noticeable as stock ( 80mph feels like 50) which will reqire you to take more glances at you speedo. In conclusion if you dont have a grand for coilovers get a set of these springs with kyb's if you have the money or else go with the monroes which should be okay also. Hope this helped!
