I'm from Graham. It's about 75 miles NW of Ft. Worth (or 60 miles due S of Wichita Falls). I'm only home about 6 days at a time though. I work in Southern Louisiana. Two weeks there, then one week home. 20 hours round-trip, every three weeks. I'm buying the Azera specifically for its comfort on the highway. Not getting to pick mine up until Monday though.

    I can't wait!

Since I drive through DFW regularly, I'd be interested in meeting up with any fellow Azera owners in the area. A little good food, some photo ops with the cars, etc.

    Welcome to the forum!

Drove some guests from Humble, Texas to the Tampa airport this morning for their return home and saw two Azeras on the trip...

I'm up over 40k miles now. She's still an excellent highway cruiser. I still to this day do not hear any front-end clunk at any speed. But I have noticed much more bounce in the front end recently. Problems...one sunshade replacement, one dash replacement (cracked airbag door). Pretty much it so far.

Mileage has been a huge disappointment. I probably average around 25 on these trips. Sometimes less, sometimes a little more. There really is no excuse whatsover for such a low 5th gear. This engine has gobs for torque, so a really tall 5th gear would be no problem. I could see this car getting 32-35 on the highway with the proper gearing.

Only other complaint is they abysmal resale value. I can't re-fi via my bank, can't get squat for trade. Ultimately this has saved my ass. Otherwise I'd be running around in a black '08 Vette. **gack!** The payments I'd have THEN! Granted, I'd finally get some decent highway mpg!

My mileage is not good either. Got it up to 24.9 recently, but that's about the best. Hoping it will improve with switching it over to royal purple at least a little. Most seem to be getting 27-29+ hwy. That 24.9 was almost all hwy too.

I have achieved as high as 28 and change. I'm guessing this is mostly due to slightly overfilling when I top off the tank and then not putting quite as much in the next fill-up when I calculate it. I also don't understand the computer's inability to display an acurate MPG rating.

I'll assume for now that those getting 27-29 are either running the 3.3 or are just trusting whatever the computer tells them.

Its awesome. I enjoy a lot. The event attracted national attention because it raised comparisons with the case of Terri Schiavo in Florida. Victim of serious brain damage and terminals otherwise, the future of Terri Schiavo is locked in a legal battle between her husband, who wants to remove life support and his parents, citing religious reasons, as his daughter alive.
