    Hey guys,
I have an 07 azera limited and it has the infinity audio system w/ the in dash changer. I'm thinking of replacing the stock radio with a navigation unit I've seen online, but I'm not sure if I can connect it to the factory amp and not lose sound from any of the speakers. Here's the unit I'm looking at. Any comments?

    Hi Agonez,

I too have an 07 and have been looking for a Nav system that will work with the existing components. I looked at the QL-AZR716 also but have not been able to find anyone that has installed the unit or any reviews. It looks like a good deal but I want to find some more information on it before buying. Please let me know if you find any. Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum!

My 2006 didn't come with nav and I only recently bought my first-ever nav unit with the suction-cup windshield mount. Functionally, I prefer the windshield mount (mounted low on the left side) as I believe it's easier to view at that location, with one eye on the road ahead, rather than looking down at the console center, entirely away from the windshield...

This is a sore subject around our place. I initially was hoping to find something that would bring together navi, BlueTooth for phone, and still function with the '07 Limited stereo speakers/amps/steering wheel remotes.

But really I have to agree with the forum mod, that locating the display closer to the line-of-sight would be preferred. Ideally, I'm thinking that once the dashboard on our Azera gets replaced under warranty, I'll try to find a stand-alone navi unit that has a pop-up display, and then secure it, centrally-integrated into a dashtop cover, obviously with a 'flap' to cover the navi unit, when it's not in use. That would, hopefully preserve the dashboard, provide for safer viewing, and add confidence for the geographically-challenged.

Current earphone/microphone attachment seems to be "too much trouble" for 'some', so at this point I think a H/F BlueTooth unit for cell phones will be a visor-mounted pod. Cheaper than the cost of a ticket, or even worse, an accident.

Anyone else thinking along these line, or have any other suggestions?

I am SO 20th Century! My cell isn't BlueTooth capable, so I bought a plug-in, over the ear earpiece/stubby microphone (plugs into the cell) that I'd use if in a state or locality with cell-phone driving restrictions. I'd pick up the phone long enough to see who's calling, then flip it open and use the headset...

Currently I attached microphone, it seems so much trouble. From this experience I thing Blue tooth is best for cell phones, it is also visible to use. It is also cheaper than the other attachments of phone.
