Fog Light Help! Just replace em??

I have an 07 Azera, which hasn't presented me with any problems so far up to date, except for one... The driver side fog light doesn't work. As far as the passenger side light, it works flawlessly.. Could it be that the light is bad or is there another possible explanation for one side not working??

If i need to buy replacements, who should I go with?? I've narrowed the list of vendors to two:

    http://www.partsultimate.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=225617

    and

    http://www.go-part.com/0610-hyundai-azera-fog-light-lamp-left-driver-p-19187.html ..

i've dealt with partsultimate before, but the second site has a better price.. Before I take any risks, anyone ever dealt with them? Or am i overthinking things in which case the problem doesnt lie with the fog light itself?
    Thanks in advance!

RE: Fog Light Help! Just replace em??

The first 3 or 4 times an Azera fog light didn't come on, I just rapped the lens gently with my knuckles, and it was back in action. My guess: a poorly weather-insulated connection; probably made in India by the same folks who supplied the suspension struts!

If you actually do have a burned-out bulb (#H8 ?), you might as well buy a matched pair, so that the color of the light output is the same on both sides. That way you also have an 'emergency' spare bulb on hand.

Oddly enough, our '07 seems to finally need a foglight bulb now. I'll be buying a pair from Daniel Stern. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html European Narva or Osram H8 @ $11 each works for me, vs. buying 'unknowns' from an 'unknown'.

IMO the Azera foglights have one of the best pattern arrays, for real fog, that I've ever seen as factory equipment, and even better than many Bosch & Hella aftermarket lights, to say nothing of 90% of the remaining aftermarket selection. (Mostly POS: just sold & bought by the naive for the assumed "bling" value) IMO the best: CIBIE! Pretty darned good: Azera!
