    Lightbulb Hood Ornament?

I have done much research on the new Azera and it's cousin the Grandeur. I would love to purchase a Venetian Blue or Ebony Black Azera with Beige Interior in the future.

I would keep everything stock with the exception of the grill - as I would replace that with the version that does not include the Hyundai signature "H"

I also would like to add the hood ornament that is found on on the Korean/European models - Does anyone know where I can find this item.

    What are you thoughts?

Thanks for creating such a wonderful forum...

mabye the grill, but I don't think the hood ornament looks right, you would either have to drill a hole in the hood or spend FOREVER with 3m sticky tape to get it centered.

    RE: Hood Ornament?

I think this vehicle is simply amazing -

If you remove all of the Hyundai signature logos - The "H"

No-one other than an Azera owner or enthusiast would know what type of vehicle you are driving.

I dont know why the Korean/European models come with the hood ornament - but I do believe that it adds just another touch of luxury to an already great car.

I dont know if there would be anyway to get one from overseas into the states - and if I did - I certainly would have the dealer put in on in whatever fashion that do overseas.

The hood ornament looks good, and it does give it a more luxurious style (ie. mercedes, cadillac, jaguar, etc..) but it isn't necessary. I think the grille without H looks like a better upgrade than the hood ornament.

    RE: Hood Ornament?

i don't think that this is a good idea guys... i saw another azera driving today and I was checking it out (while beeping and waving) and i just don't think its the right time to do something like that, your just asking to get your car made fun of or keyed or smashed or...or.. whatever.
It might be a great car but its still a HYUNDAI in many peoples eyes hyundais are low quality cheap econoboxes. All im saying is that it just isnt right, its like putting a hood ornament on a dodge.

and plus, thats one U-G-L-Y hood ornament...save your money, buy some gas JMO.

    06Azera_LTD,

I can see somewhat where you are coming from - However the presence or absence or a hood-ornament on any particular vehicle is NOT going to sway anyones opinion.

If someone was to find fault with or want to damage the Azera in any way - they would do so regardless.

However you are correct - With the current prices of gas it might be better to save every last cent and any upgrades can come at a later date.

I dont believe the ornament is U-G-L-Y....I think it is actually very fancy and might remind any car enthusiast of the early Rolls Royce "Wings"

    RE: Hood Ornament?

I like the Mercedes hood ornaments, but the R series is the only logo Hood. Installation is easy. How do I know what I am ordering correctly positioned the right corner of the hood?

I got an ornament, it's fly, chicks dig it, people compliment it, set the car off, however I have modified mine so it flows with the car.
