    Wire Polarity in Headlight Assembly

I'm trying to install H11 HID lights on my H11B system, but when I opened the headlight assembly, both wires connected to the H11B OEM connector were yellow. Is there a way to differentiate which one is + and which one is - just by looking at it (position of the wires on the connector, pattern on the wire, or written scripts on the wire)?

I'm hoping I can find the difference without using a multimeter...

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum!

Don't know if anyone will be able to help unless they made the change and recorded what they found at the time. Multimeters are really cheap, these days. Here's a cheapo analog unit for under $4, free shipping...

In general, for aftermarket headlight assemblies, the positive wires are red, and the ... on any audio system are marked for positive
