    15 MPG?

Most of the recent reviews I've read (caranddriver.com has a short one online now) are putting the milage of the Azera well below the 19/29 advertised by Hyundai.

What are owners currently experienceing, and does anyone know if Hyundai has any plans to improve the actual milage of the Azera to match the listed ratings?

    RE: 15 MPG?

Bought my Sage Green Azera in April. Averaging 22mpg up and down the grades on state and county roads in the Catskill Mtns of NY. If I manage to keep it to 75-80 on the NYS Thruway I average 27mpg. I now have about 8,000 miles with not one complaint.

That MPG thing is all on the manner one drives. I have a Camry and the manafacture says it should get 21 MPG on a V6 I get 24 city 35 highway.

The Azera may get 19 to 20 but if you gun it drive over 55, use the air then one will get less MPG.. Lots of horses under the hood and the car is much heavier than a Camry.

Just went on a 1400 mile trip and my best hightway milage was 27.3mpg, with 4 people and a loaded trunk. I averaged 24mpg just tooling around town and some local highways.

Hmm, that's pretty good. So I guess it should be 22-24 mpg city when car is broken in?

I think is all depends on how one drives and if you use the air. Use the air less MPG. I hate air unless its 90 or more degrees outside. Most of the time I have the windows open with the sunroof. I can live with 19 or 20 MPG so I'm happy and gas prices are declining just in time for the elections. Go figure!

Yea, this is some fishy stuff. I bet if republicans dominated the house again, prices will raise like a week after elections. But then again, they'd probably raise with democrats too. Ahh, politics.
