Is it the one-to-two shift? There is a TSB out on that. 06-40-007
It involves a 1-2 shift hesitation. The fix is to flash new code in the Powertrain Control Module of the car using the Hi-Scan tool.
the azera has drvie by wire technology i think, it will do that until it gets used to your driving technique.
Ok
Ok

oh sh** sorry I will delete those, c'mon azera! get ontop of your game and delete my overpost!! lol j/k

aww do you need me to delete it for you? lol
Yes, our '07 does have serious hesitation between the pedal mashing motion and the car's actual movement. Seems to happen when trying to take off from a stop quickly, trans kickdown when trying to pass someone, or just accelerate a bit faster when exiting a 'school zone' or the like. It will take off quickly from a stop only if the torque converter is revved up & loaded against the brakes, drag strip style. This is not a necessary feature of "drive-by-wire" systems, and it hasn't gotten any better yet (5,500 miles on the odo). An '06 I rented from Hertz suffered with the same symptoms (it had 17,500 miles on its odometer).
This will definitely be part of the 'gripe list' when it's back @ the dealer for its 1st 'official' service. Trans upshifts are delayed also, especially noticably when using the 'manual shift' option. Downshifts in the 'manual shift' operation are also delayed, but don't seem to have as much hesitation as the upshifts.

1998 Ford Taurus mileage: 70,000. Hello, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on a problem I am having with my car. First the stats. Problem: when ever you accelerate the car especially between 25-35 mph, the car acts likes its out of gas, doesn't die but as you push the accelerator it doesn't respond right away then grabs. As long as you have the accelerator pushed, it runs perfect. When you let off and then push again it kinda bogs then catches. I though maybe a clogged or bad fuel filter, replaced it. Bad fuel pump, replaced that. Still does it. not as bad but its still there. My next guess is bad fuel injectors. I am in the process of borrowing a fuel pressure gauge, but what will this help if one or two injectors are bad? I don't know what other components could be bad. I thought it was the torque converter but on startup and engage in drive it connects perfectly. I am pretty confident that it is the fuel. Rotor, cap, wires are all new (in replacement of what I thought might be a spark problem). Other than taking it to a shop and hooking it up to a machine, which will run some bucks, is there any other diagnostics I can do to narrow it down. Any information would be a great help. UPDATE: replaced: fuel pump, MAPP, Throttle Position Sensor only things left are module on dist. and ECM.... out of ideas.
I have the same problem with my accent 2001. Tell me where to find a solution ... My wallet is always thinner and thinner, how I can change the spark plugs, the son of filters.
