South Korean automaker Hyundai/Kia may be about to jump into the No. 3 spot for U.S. auto sales.

TrueCar.com is forecasting the company will report unit sales for May of 115,434 vehicles, ahead of everybody but GM (GM) and F0rd (F), when data are released next week.

That would be enough to push it past Chrysler — forecast sales of 110,132, Toyota (TM) — 109,416, and Honda — 92,889.
