    Passenger Seat Rails Extension

My wife is disabled and unable to bend her left leg. It is difficult for her to enter the car, even with the passenger seat all the way back.
Does anyone have experience with changing or moving the chair rails to gain one or two more inches of travel back?
According to my research, the Azera has one of the longest front legroom in the auto world. I just need one or two more inches to get her easily into the car.

    Thanks,

    Stan

If you find someone to do the work, please let me know how it goes. I wouldn't mind a trip down there (from San Luis Obispo) to have the rail extension for the drivers seat as well.

All changes can be removed without permanently modifying the car. ZERO legs of the rear passengers, however, but I am not anticipating that the rear passengers. If I do, the worse for them.

It can be done. My dad had it done to his Caddy because all 6'5 of him couldnt fit, and yes you will lose some seat functions unless you fork out the cash to do it right. In either case I would say your looking at about 600-1000$ in parts and labor.

    RE: Passenger Seat Rails Extension

There would seem to be so much involved, including safety features regarding the air bag(s) deployment that I suspect it would be unlikely that anyone knowledgable (and concerned with future liability!) would do the work...
