Thread: I'll be having my Azera detailed next week...

... for the first time. At 35k miles, I figured it's about due. Never had a car detailed before, this will take about 6 hours, exterior and interior, and run about $220. I was satisfied with the $35 waxing at the car wash for my old 1990 Accord, swirls and all, but the Azzy will get a higher level treatment, Zen-state as it were...

Looks great. Wheels look really good, too.

I've got to go that route with our '07 soon. I had about a month after we got the car to get in the mudguards, Weather-Tech mats (Wife wants them left on year-round! Basically 'her car' as DD.), etc., so I'll expect carpet's pretty clean underneath. Was finally able, about 2 months ago, to get the Aubergine touch-up paint from the dealer.

With the tan (darn near white!) interior, I only waited about two weeks before I covered the OEM mats with the burgundy ones I bought, but I never did anything about covering the left-side molded footrest and it became nearly black in 2+ years. After the detailing, it's pristine again, so it's either do something about it or feel guilty over the next couple of years or so, 'till the next interior detail...

I'll be having my car detailed again a couple of weeks into the new year. I've had this done annually since 2009 and it goes a long way toward keeping me happy with my 2006 Limited (now with 59k miles) and keeping me from getting "antsy" for a nicer-looking ride...

Looks great! any idea what he used to detail the car? what compounds and grade he used/ wax and sealent? / interior shine?

I don't see any pictures. I'd like to see a newly detailed Azera.
