I've noticed that the seat memory doesn't work if the driver's seat has been moved all the way to the back. A small manual jog foreward and it works fine. Anyone else noticed this quirk?

Sorry but no (07' Azera). Was the door closed when you pushed the button?
Haven't noticed that happening in our car - what does occur, regarding the memory seats, is that I wish they would operate without the ignition being "on."
When I drive, the seat needs to be all the way back but the wife sits much closer to the steering wheel. If she is the last to drive, I find it awkward to reach in, between the nearby seat back and the steering wheel to turn on the ignition to make the memory buttons operable. Our last car's seats worked with the ignition off as well as on.
Brought this to the attention of the general manager of our Hyundai dealer for consideration by the manufacturer in newer versions. The service manger said he researched the possibility of reprogramming the switches with no luck.
I figure, if the ladies want you to put the toilet seat back down when you're done, they could reciprocate by setting the car seat appropriately when they get out!...![]()
There are a LOT of "differences" between the Azera's features and what's been standard on most cars for many years. I suspect these differences were introduced on purpose by some "wet-behind-the-ears" engineers seeking to do something different mostly for the sake of doing that something different. Every now and then, some good comes of such "pioneering", but more often than not, the instigator learns a hard lesson when the complaints start rolling in.
