    Wrong Outside Temp Readout

I recently got my oil changed and tires rotated, and didn't notice until about a few days later, but the outside temperature reading is way off.....about 10-13 degrees. I read the manual and could not find anything on the outside temperature number or where the sensor would be located. What would be the easiest way to try and fix this, or at least do a search myself? I would hate to have the full faceplate taken off so they can fix the temperature reading...

    RE: Wrong Outside Temp Readout

There's a Technical Service Bulletin that might apply:

    Technical Service Bulletin Number 06-97-001
    CLIMATE CONTROL

    2006 AZERA / SONATA AMBIENT
    TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

    DESCRIPTION:
On some vehicles the ambient temperature displayed on the climate controller may differ from the actual outside temperature by more than 5-10oF. An updated ambient temperature sensor is available to improve this condition. This TSB provides the procedure to install the updated ambient temperature sensor located in front of the
    radiator/condenser.

Thanks Gamle! I did a little research on the internet and the sensor is findable with a flashlight. Is the replacement of this part done through the dealership or could I purchase a sensor and install myself. First time that I owned a car with outside temp...I just don't want to screw things up!!

As there's a TSB, the dealer should handle it, free of charge...
