Thread: Can we Do Something about the bogus / spam / porn posts

Can we please do something about the spam/porn/bogus posts. Its all generated by automatic posting bots. Can you change the registration system to require valid return email and use something like a randomly generated number you have to type in when you register to stop the bots?

The Administrator is working on that...

I've turned on email verification, which might not stop it completely, I'll also try to fix Captcha Image Verification which would be nice to have.

Do you miss them now? Haha.

Spent all kinds of time writing a message and trying to make sure
that it is just right, and all of a sudden, it simply disappears.
This will happen when going to the "Preview Post" and then trying
to return to the message and correct something.
This is rather discouraging because I have to use the rather slow hunt and peck system
and doing the message all over again just doesn't seem worth the effort.
